We are looking for a level1-level2 Linux Support Engineer to join our operations team and provide world-class technical support to a roaster of clientele, primary web development companies and digital marketing agencies, for which Stack Harbor provides full turn-key managed business-grade hosting services. Our support engineers, do not provide end-user assistance, but rather work with a clients technical representative to understand, diagnose, and resolve technical issues on mission critical production environments. Support engineers also proactively monitor and respond to issues detected by automated monitoring systems, as well as execute ongoing management and internal system administrative tasks on our clients fully managed environments. The ideal candidate will have support desk experience, be well versed in infrastructure virtualization (all client environments are fully virtualized) and have extensive chops managing linux-based server environments, under mission critical 24/7 conditions.
