Navigate environment groups

Filter the Stack Harbor PaaS dashboard by environment group using the Tags column and the Env Groups menu.

Once environments are grouped, the dashboard gives you two ways to navigate between groups. Both apply the same filter — pick whichever fits the moment.

  • The Tags column on each environment row.
  • The Env Groups menu above the environment list.

This page covers both.

The Tags column lists every group an environment belongs to. Click a tag to filter the dashboard to that group.

When you do:

  • The filter is applied immediately.
  • The selected group appears as a breadcrumb element in the Env Groups panel at the top.
  • The group’s own name is hidden from the Tags column for environments inside the group — you are already there.

If the group has child groups (subgroups), they appear in the action menu of the selected group’s breadcrumb. Click any child to drill down.

To clear the filter and return to the full environment list, click Env Groups itself.

Expand the Env Groups menu at the top. You get the list of every group on your account, including subgroups where they exist. Click a group to apply its filter.

The menu also exposes two predefined sorts:

  • Shared with Me — filters to environments shared into your account.

Hover over Shared with Me to see the list of collaboration owners. Pick one to filter further to environments shared by that specific account. The Manage entry at the bottom of the submenu opens the Account settings > Shared with Me tab.

  • Region — filters by region. The list shows every region available to your account.

These two sorts work the same way as group filters — they apply, they show in the breadcrumb, you clear them by clicking Env Groups.

Why two paths

The Tags column is faster when you are looking at a specific environment and want to jump to its peers. The Env Groups menu is faster when you know which group you want before you look at any environment. Both arrive at the same filtered view.
