NGINX PHP server — section overview

Index of the NGINX PHP server topics in the Stack Harbor PaaS documentation — configuration, modules, security, caching, and WebDAV.

This section is the index for everything NGINX-PHP on the Stack Harbor PaaS — from the base stack to security hardening, custom modules, WebDAV, and caching.

If you have not provisioned an NGINX PHP environment yet, start with NGINX PHP.

In this section

  • NGINX PHP — the base stack, provisioning, and core configuration directives.
  • NGINX security configurations — TLS, headers, rate limits, request filtering.
  • NGINX modules — what ships out of the box and how to list loaded modules.
  • NGINX WebDAV module — exposing a WebDAV-mounted document root.
  • Caching on the NGINX PHP stack — using NGINX as a static cache or FastCGI cache in front of PHP-FPM.

How this fits together

NGINX PHP runs PHP-FPM over FastCGI behind NGINX. The web tier handles connection management, static content, and (with the right edge configuration) HTTP/3; PHP-FPM processes scripts. The pages below describe the configuration surfaces that are specific to NGINX — for PHP itself, refer to the runtime configuration pages under PHP.
